Evan Gonzalez is a certified Human Potential Coach and Associate Certified Coach. After struggling with bronchitis and allergies since he was a baby, resulting in low energy and motivation to fully live life, five years ago he decided to get healthy and never get sick again. Through optimizing his diet, exercise, sleep and stress management, today he is in his best physical and mental shape ever. Now he helps men who struggle with low energy and motivation design and implement a simple and sustainable action plan to get in the best physical and mental shape of their life.

WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED AND WHY?
"When Spirit says move, you move." Many times, we can be fully inspired with clear intent. If we don't align our being and follow through with action on our mission, we can miss expressing our fullest creative potential through actualizing ourselves in the world and with others.

WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU AND WHY?
Everyone I know inspires me on some level. When I listen to them and get to know their life story and the decisions they made, I get to learn through their experience as well as reflect on how their life parallels and intersects with mine. Ultimately all life is connected.

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU COULD SHARE WITH OUR READERS TO UPLIFT THEM IN LIFE AND CAREER?
Trust and follow your heart, gut and intelligent mind in every decision you make.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK AND HOW DID IT INSPIRE YOU?
"The Science of Mind" by Ernest Holmes for its reminder that we live in an intelligent and good Universe and that we can consciously create the life we yearn for. Also "Boundless" by Ben Greenfield because it is such an in-depth resource for optimizing Body, Mind and Spirit.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
Meditate 10-20 minutes, practice HRV Heart Coherence breathing with the Inner Balance Sensor, and read fiction before falling asleep. I also take CBD oil and a combination of L-Theanine and GABA to wind down before bed.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES YOU OR YOUR INDUSTRY FACES, AND HOW DO YOU OVERCOME THOSE?
People viewing coaches as not "walking their talk" when a coach seems to be struggling with a challenge in an area that they coach on. Open, vulnerable and honest communication. Coaches are human also. We all go through struggles and in fact sometimes our deepest growth may happen when we deepen our relationship with these challenges and integrate them. This also lays the groundwork to serve our people more fully.
